Welcome everyone! This area will cover general forum etiquette and what to expect, so here we go:
Unlike journal roleplaying, which most of you are more familiar with, there are far fewer rules to be covered as far as in-game etiquette goes, but those that do exist are important.
Firstly, there are no "permissions posts". Things will happen in the game that you won't particularly like. No one likes getting stabbed, and no one likes having their characters die, but these things can happen.
Relatedly, there are no "trigger warnings". There is no real way to predict how a particular part of the game is going to go, so there's no way to reliably go "Here's what's coming, beware". However, the game will be kept to a vaguely "R rating", so graphic sexual scenes and overly descriptive violence will be highly discouraged.
Player vs Player combat is also heavily discouraged, but in extreme circumstances may come into play.
Finally, and most importantly, is the forum golden rule: Don't Be a Dick. It really is that simple.
